The doctors and staff of Hanover Animal Hospital work to establish long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets by providing high-quality medical and professional services.

Founded in 1992 and first located in Hanover Commons Shopping Center at the corner of Shady Grove Road and 301, HAH expanded in May of 2001 to a new facility located behind Henry Volunteer Fire Station on Chamberlayne Avenue. The new building boasts an ample reception area, four exam rooms, isolation, a surgery suite equipped with a laser, a large treatment area, radiology room and processor, and boarding kennels for cats and dogs. Currently two veterinarians are on our staff--Dr. John Billeter and Dr. Tyson--with a supporting team of five vet assistants, two receptionists, our office manager, and a kennel staff. In addition, Dr. Lord works from HAH as a part time doctor specializing in holistic medicine and acupuncture.

EMERGENCIES

In the event of an emergency during office hours, please call to notify us of your situation so we may better determine the need for an emergency exam and to prepare in the event of an actual emergency. After hours, it is in the best interest of your pet that we refer all emergencies to local clinics equipped to handle critical, 24-hour care, particularly if hospitalization, laboratory tests, radiographs, or surgery is a possibility, in which case a critical care facility could give your pet ongoing care. We are in constant communication with these doctors via telephone and fax, and we will handle any scheduled check-ups during your pet's recovery. Click here for our page on emergencies and get directions to the nearest 24-hour animal hospital.
